I found this quart in a News.
The News was really sad and scary. I am not going to talk about the terrible news.
If a person kill somebody, then victim's family kill him. When we see this situation, we can use "Nose for a nose, Ears for ears"
But in Japanese, we use "eyes for eyes, teeth for teeth"
The meaning is same but Japanese use eyes and teeth.
This difference is really interesting for me.
I guess, Japanese people think eyes and teeth are more important than nose and eyes or there are some historical reason for using different face parts.
I'm going to search for the reasons why English and Japanese use different body parts for same meaning.
I might find a interesting reasons.
I'm kind of excited.
If I find a reason, I will report in this blog.
OK!!! Let's search it!!!
