Losing my English skill??????
It is almost 6 months, since I'm back to Japan.
I had been worried about losing my English skill while I'm in Japan.
Many of my friends said to me they were losing their English skill when they were in Japan.
Is that true??????
I would say "It is not true" :)
Let me explain.
Since I'm in Japan. I don't have many CHANCE to speak, write, read and listen English.
However, it doesn't mean I don't HAVE A TIME to speak, write, read and listen English.
I'm trying to write this blog as much as I can.
I'm trying to speak English. In this case, "speak" means not only "talk". I sometimes read a book out loud, and sometimes sing song in English. :)
I'm reading books in English, in my lunch break, and anytime when I have time to read.
I'm listening news and watching movies or TV show in English everyday.
I subscribe "CNN World news" and "CNN Student news" from i-Tune's pod cast.
i-Tune is a great tool to study foreign languages.
I often download Free-movies and Free-TV show.
Cuz I need to listen "real English" for learning casual conversation. In a TV-show, people usually don't use very academic words. So I could learn how people usually speak when they are with their friends or family.
I downloaded TV-show called "Teen Wolf" the other day.
I thought the show is not exiting, when I downloaded it.(And I actually don't care about the story :P) So I didn't watched the show for several weeks.
Then, I watched it, and what happened to me is that, I can understand almost everything without subtitles and translations.
This was really great experience to me.
Now I'm sure even I'm out of states, I can improve my English skills if I try hard :)
Also, friends are helping me a lot :) I'm sure, I can't improve my English without their help.
Chat is great. This can help speaking and writing skill.
Facebook post and blog post are great :) Friends can correct my mistakes, when I need :D
Skype or video chat are great, too!!!! It help speaking skill. But the most important thing is we don't feel the distance :D
When I talk with my friends, when my friends post something on my FB wall, when I got a letter from my friends, and when my friends leave comments on my blog, those activities can increase my motivation of studying English!!!!
I am really appreciate their great help :)
Oh, and I should thank for "modern technologies", too ;)
Well, learning foreign language is really FUN!!!!!! :D

Reading books so good :)
I like reading books.
I read novels, non-fictions, fairly tales, picture books, children's books........
Anyways, I love reading books.
When I was in the U.S. I didn't read a lot.
I mean I did read a lot but it's just a homework.
Now, I'm reading a lot of books, as same as I used to do.
(Is this grammatically correct? this above sentence, anyway)
It's because my sister work at a library :)
She borrow books for me, and I read them.
In this week, I already read 2 books. (well they are Japanese books though)
Also I've reading "the Firm" in English.
(I read this book since April, it takes long time because I only read the book in my lunch break :P)
Library is a great place to get knowledge and educate myself.
There are many kinds of books in a library.
We can pick books whatever we want, for free. It's so great!!!!
If you don't like the book which you picked, you just return the book before you finish it. :)
Well, I should read many books in English.

Teaching English!!! :)
I'm teaching English for middle school students twice a month.
I had the classes on June 6th and 13th.
Well, these were second time to see my students. Okay let's talk about June 6th at first.
The class starts 6pm and I was there on time, of course. But nobody showed up on time!!!
(It supposed to be three students in this class)
About 5 minutes later one of students came.
So we started the lesson.
Almost 45min later, the two students showed up.
Hmmmmmm.
I'm fine......
But this decreased my motivation.
Because all of my preparation was ruined.
I just answered one student's questions and played my new game.
(It was a good time, anyways. :) She asked me some questions that she was puzzled, and I did answer her questions.)
Okay, students. You should show up on time every class that you take!!!!
Now I know how teachers feel when their students don't show up his class. lol
On the other hands, the 13th class was really great :)
In this class, I only have two students.
They came the class on time.
(Actually they were late little bit, but just a minutes or so.)
When they entered the class room, they were greeting to me in English!!!
Wow!!! :) I was really happy!!!
We spend our time very well and watched a movie.
Well, teaching English teach me a lot of things, both good and bad.
I really do love to teach English.
I wish they will show up on time, next time :)
