Teaching English!!! :)

I'm teaching English for middle school students twice a month.

I had the classes on June 6th and 13th.
Well, these were second time to see my students. Okay let's talk about June 6th at first.

The class starts 6pm and I was there on time, of course. But nobody showed up on time!!!
(It supposed to be three students in this class)
About 5 minutes later one of students came.
So we started the lesson.
Almost 45min later, the two students showed up.

Hmmmmmm.
I'm fine......
But this decreased my motivation.
Because all of my preparation was ruined.
I just answered one student's questions and played my new game.
(It was a good time, anyways. :) She asked me some questions that she was puzzled, and I did answer her questions.)

Okay, students. You should show up on time every class that you take!!!!
Now I know how teachers feel when their students don't show up his class. lol

On the other hands, the 13th class was really great :)
In this class, I only have two students.
They came the class on time.
(Actually they were late little bit, but just a minutes or so.)
When they entered the class room, they were greeting to me in English!!!
Wow!!! :) I was really happy!!!
We spend our time very well and watched a movie.

Well, teaching English teach me a lot of things, both good and bad.
I really do love to teach English.
I wish they will show up on time, next time :)

  2. We are watching different movies. the first class is watching "the haunted mansion" Eddie Murphy is in this movie.
Then another class is watching "17 again"
We watch the movies 15min for each lesson.
They like the movies so far :)

Anyways, one of my class, there is a girl who cannot focus on her study.
She is a nice girl and she has an eager to study English. But she cannot focus.
She always talk, even when I give a direction or explanation.
I have to plan something for her. I should figure out a good way.
It's very hard to me :( But at least I'll try :)
So, if you come up with some ideas, let me know!!
